WCSU Offers Multiple Musical Performances
Western Connecticut State University’s Department of Music presents a season of live musical performances at the university’s Visual and Performing Art Center (VPAC) in the Veronica Hagman Concert Hall, 43 Lake Ave. Extension, Danbury. All shows are open to the public, and tickets can be purchased in advance at wcsuvpac.eventbrite.com.
WCSU presents ‘Address Earth: Art Expo 2022’ in VPAC Art Gallery
Thirty-eight visual artists will present artworks in a multi-media, multi-location exhibition called “Address Earth,” including a showing at Western Connecticut State University’s The Gallery in the university’s Visual and Performing Arts Center.
WCSU Fall 2022 Art, Theatre and Music Programs Announced
Western Connecticut State University has announced its live fall 2022 art, theatre and music programs, sponsored by its School of Visual and Performing Arts, all open to the public. The events are held in the university’s Visual and Performing Arts Center (VPAC) on the Westside campus at 43 Lake Ave. Extension, Danbury. Tickets can be purchased at wcsuvpac.eventbrite.com.

Kolton Harris, Kevin Mambo, and Kate Schardt Join Thrown Stone’s Board of Directors
Thrown Stone is pleased to welcome Kolton Harris, Kevin Mambo, and Kate Schardt to their Board of Directors. Mr. Harris currently serves as Program Associate for the Connecticut Office of the Arts. Formerly the Artistic Director and current chair of the board of Writer’s Block Ink, a social justice youth theatre in New London, CT, Harris is also an accomplished recording artist, producer, and musician. “I’m elated to join the innovative fabric of Thrown Stone as we embark on the journey of generating an environment conducive to powerful imaginative theatre that can instigate real change in the world,” said Harris.
