Gallery 25 “Art with Heart” Opening Show
Gallery25 is excited to offer its latest installation “Art with Heart”, featuring fresh works from the 19 member artists beginning Fri February 3. These original pieces include paintings and art photography of all genres, from the classic to the abstract, unique jewelry, classic and whimsical ceramic work, one-of-a-kind woodwork, including many toys, pens, and clocks, felting, weaving, vibrant fused glass pieces and poetry by Southbury s poet laureate.
Tax Workshop for Art Makers
We’ll review federal income tax basics for creative individuals, including common deductions claimed by creative entrepreneurs. We’ll also outline how the tax landscape changes based on the type of income an artist earns and highlight key aspects of tax law that impact financial wellness.

Sherman Artists Open Studio
Mark your calendars for the second Sherman Artists Open Studio Saturday and Sunday, December 3 & 4, from 10 am to 4 pm. Twelve local Sherman artists are participating in this year’s Open Studio event. Some artists will be in their studios, others at the Sherman Town Hall and the Sherman Senior Center.
