Gallery25 is excited to offer its latest installation “Art with Heart”, featuring fresh works from the 19 member artists beginning Fri  February 3.

These original pieces include paintings and art photography of all genres, from the classic to the abstract, unique jewelry, classic and whimsical ceramic work, one of a kind woodwork, including many toys , pens, and clocks , felting, weaving , vibrant fused glass pieces and poetry by Southbury s poet laureate.

These artworks are displayed throughout the historic train station on Railroad St in the heart of iconic downtown New Milford .

An Opening Reception, with wine and refreshments, will be held 2-4:00pm on February 4 for the public to celebrate the kick off of the new show.

Many thanks to the Town of New Milford and the Commission On the Arts for their generous support.

New Milford offers several fine restaurants and unique shops, as well as an Art Deco movie theater and renowned playhouse and concert venue at the Merryall Center. The green is one of the largest in Ct.

G25 is open Friday and Saturday 12-6:00 and Sunday 10-4:00.

An added feature for Gallery 25 is a monthly special exhibit of an artist not affiliated with the gallery. This separate FEATURED ARTIST is juried in by members, and is given a show that lasts for a full month.

Work by February s featured artist Deborah Rose will be on exhibit from February 4-February 26, with a reception from 2-4:00 pm on February 4. The public is invited to attend. This reception also celebrates the gallery’s new show “Art with Heart” which runs from Feb 4-March 12.
Rose, as New Milford s poet laureate, will also give a poetry reading on Saturday February 18 at 2:00 pm to which the public is invited.
