National Endowment for the Arts| Jan 7, 2023

The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) has announced that grant guidelines and application materials are now available for Grants for Arts Projects (GAP) and Challenge America. These grants to organizations support specific projects in any part of the nation’s 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. jurisdictions. The deadlines for Grants for Arts Projects are February 9 and July 6, 2023, and the deadline for Challenge America is April 27, 2023. You can access the full guidelines at arts.gov/grants.

In addition, on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm ET, the National Endowment for the Arts will conduct a webinar on the Grants for Arts Projects guidelines. The webinar will include an overview of the funding category and tips for applicants, as well as a Q&A session. You can register here.

The NEA is proud to support the nation’s arts sector with grant opportunities so that together we can help everyone live more artful lives. The arts contribute to our individual well-being, the well-being of our communities, and to our local economies. As we emerge from the pandemic and plan for the future, the arts are also crucial to helping us make sense of our circumstances from different perspectives.
