Marlon Blackwood is a CT based artist who grew up in Stamford, Connecticut. He furthered his education by attending Southern Connecticut State University for Sociology and Central Connecticut State University for Graphic Design. He is currently employed by Connecticut Valley Hospital as a Mental Health Assistant where he became certified in REIKI III. During his time at Connecticut Valley Hospital art became more prominent in his life. His passion became about his art and he started Artifex Custom Gallery, an online art gallery for his artwork. Marlon is also passionate about giving back. He has organized art shows and comedy art auctions and part of the proceeds from those events go to charity
