Prior to the pandemic, online programming was typically a paid access oint, much of which moved to free access during the crisis. And, for those that did not produce digital content prior, they too struggle with establishing income generation for this expensive and time consuming effort. The question truly at hand, as we work to change the unsustainable model of NFP/NGO, is should we even be looking at monetizing the digital –shouldn’t we instead be continuing having it freely accessible, broadening audiences and engagement. However, a concern for many remains then as to how to make up for the loss in earned income streams. Our conversation will offer insight into differing views on the subject, with the continuing of online content at the forefront.
