Business Supports the Arts Awards
Call for Nominations
The Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Business Supports the Arts Awards.
These awards recognize businesses and individuals whose support of the arts strengthens our communities and improves quality of life across the region.
Multiple nominations are welcome, including self nominations. Nominees must be aware of the nomination and willing to attend the Business Supports the Arts Awards Luncheon if selected. Nominations close Friday, May 29, 2026.
Award Categories
Presented to a mid-sized or large business for exemplary giving practices in the arts. This is the most prestigious award and recognizes businesses whose financial support has had a broad and lasting impact on arts and culture throughout the Greater Danbury area.
Arts in the Community Award
Presented to a local small business or entrepreneur whose support of the arts helps build and sustain a vibrant, healthy, and creative community. This award recognizes innovative approaches to using the arts to foster economic development and community connection.
Mary Rindfleisch Heart of the Arts Award
Presented to an outstanding volunteer in recognition of extraordinary commitment and service that nurtures arts and culture and increases quality of life in the community.
Arts Impact Life Award
Presented to a nonprofit or for-profit organization that incorporates the arts in ways that significantly improve the quality of life for the people they serve or do business with.

Each fall, the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut invites you to take part in the Business Supports the Arts Awards, our signature fundraiser and a dynamic gathering of leaders across business, government, and the arts.
