Patricia presently lives in Hamden (CT) creating works that vary from social commentary to emotional respite to simply fun and beautiful. She is a mostly self taught artist, though early on she did take a few classes at Silvermine, (Norwalk area) Art Students League and School of Visual Arts (both in NYC). She is a retired ballerina with an advanced degree in (Astro)Physics. It all comes together in her art.
She believes that art, like love, is meant to be shared. The more you share, the more we can make the world a better place than we found it. It is a nourishment that can raise awareness of an injustice or evoke an emotion as simple as awe or as complex as curiosity. The more beauty, the less room for cruelty, injustice, and hate.
Keep an eye out for her Facebook Live event on November 29th from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM as the culmination of other, multi-day events, and reveal the title of the painting from her “Help Me (Re)Name This Painting” event.
