Biographical Info Abstract Paintings (Oil on Canvas) and Mosaics About Alma Al-Faham: Alma was born and raised in Kuwait up until the age of sixteen, when she moved to Jordan. She holds a BSc in Architectural Engineering and has lived, worked and exhibited her art in Jordan, Greece, and USA. She complimented her passion for art by taking extensive courses in painting, jewelry design and ceramic tile mosaic in Greece and Jordan. Poetry, the crystal-clear beaches of Greece, the beauty in the harsh rose pink deserts of Jordan, and Damascene jasmine and architecture are her source of inspiration which are reflected in her contemporary abstract art. She currently resides in beautiful Danbury, Connecticut. She grasps the peacefulness and lovely sceneries of this area to create more art influenced by its charm.
