Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday, a Global Day of Generosity. Help us keep arts and culture at the heart of our communities when it matters most.
We have a big mission and a small team
One experienced staff member and a network of volunteers working behind the scenes to make big things happen. While momentum is building, government funding is shrinking. Without community support, projects stall. Every initiative we’ve launched this year, depends on partnerships, community and local investment.
And yet, we’ve made progress
- 3 towns are on track for Cultural District designation in our region. We expect there will be more.
- Third-Space Danbury launched with its first public art activation at Rogers Park. Now we’re planning 6 more installations across the city. But we need help to make it happen.
- Creative Youth Development served over 500 youth this year, building confidence and leadership through the arts. Without additional support, we anticipate serving only 300 next year.
- The Tarrywile Project is on the table for 2026, a major public art installation that will transform one of Danbury’s most beloved outdoor spaces.
- The Arts Hub feasibility study is underway, laying the groundwork for a regional space where creativity and collaboration thrive.
- There’s more.
These wins matter. But they’re just the beginning. Our region is growing, and creative spaces and opportunities need to grow with it.
