Participants work together quickly to design and plan a project for their community that focus on raising the value of art and creativity.
The Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut is excited to invite the community to a 3-day Air Shift Workshop at the Danbury Museum, 43 Main Street, Danbury, CT. A multi-day hands-on workshop, to help small teams learn to use collaboration skills, design thinking, and business planning to create small, locally implementable projects. Projects have a one-year timeline and under $10,000 budgets. Space is limited so don’t wait to register! Food and refreshments provided.
Friday, October 20th 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM Shift Your Mindset
Discover new ways to think about the power of creativity and challenge your mental models about art, business, community and money. Refreshments provided.
Saturday, October 21st 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Learn by Dong - With Others!
Take the mystery out of business planning and strengthen your creative muscles. Work with a small, facilitated group to create a local project that uses creativity to improve your community. Use the Air Project Canvas to build a business plan that is implementable. Lunch provided.
Sunday, October 22nd 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM Find Your Voice
Present your groups’ plan, show and tell the story of your Community Collaboration Project and get valuable feedback from local leaders. Refreshments provided.
