The Danbury Cultural Commission is continues participating in Park(ing) Day 2023 where a City Parking Space is transformed into a City Park for a few hours to promote open space in the City. Danbury has more than two dozen parks and open spaces throughout the city. On Park(ing) Day Commissioners will be tarrying in the newly created (Park) in front of their office at 256 Main Street, a building also known as the “OLD” Library or The Music Centre. Between 9 AM and 1PM the (Park) will have information to share about the parks and open space available to residents and visitors to the Hat City. The Parks and Recreation Department along with the Parking Authority and CityCenter have joined The Danbury Cultural Commission and the Innovation Center to share information and a cup of coffee, which, perhaps, a cookie or two.
