Open Auditions for Clue at Ridgefield Theater Barn
November 5 @ 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
The Ridgefield Theater Barn will hold open auditions for Clue on Sunday, November 5th and Monday, November 6th at 7pm. The play, based on the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn and written by Sandy Rustin with additional material by Hunter Foster and Eric Price, will be directed by David Fritsch. Performances will take place Friday and Saturday evenings from February 2nd to the 24th at 8pm, with Sunday matinees February 11th and 18th at 2pm.
Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party with murder and blackmail on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they become suspects. Led by Wadsworth – the butler, Miss Scarlett, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock, and Colonel Mustard race to find the killer as the body count stacks up. Clue is the comedy whodunit that will leave both cult-fans and newcomers in stitches as they try to figure out…WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT!
All roles are open and actors (18+) of all backgrounds and gender identities are urged to audition. Auditioners should bring their resume and headshot and be prepared to read from sides provided.
