Get ready to dive into art archives with Tobin as he shares his expertise on “Preserve & Protect: Approaching an Art Archive.” Learn firsthand about managing the extensive collection of Martha Graham, spanning from 1894 to 2021!
Curious about the archival process? Tobin oversaw the preservation of Graham’s costumes, production elements, images, ephemera, and personal items. Discover how he relocated this treasure trove to its permanent home at the NYPL Dance Division and implemented a digital database for global access!
