Valley Music Series Presents MESSIAH SING with Connecticut Choral Society

Please join us for our MESSIAH SING on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at 3:00 PM. Under the direction of Eric Dale Knapp, this sing-in of Händel’s Messiah (Parts II & III) is a tour de force with the Connecticut Choral Society. Stellar vocal soloists, Francesca Federico, soprano; Holly Sorensen, mezzo-soprano; Nicholas Simpson, tenor and John Robert Green, bass-baritone along with other Nexus Choral Artists are performing. The very talented Linda Sweetman-Waters, is our organ accompanist.

Whether you’re a singer or a classical music aficionado our annual sing-ins are for you!  This is a great opportunity for all singers to join the chorus for the day; or for classical music lovers to come enjoy an afternoon of music! It’s also a great way to learn more about the Valley Music Series and Connecticut Choral Society and how you can join or help with our community outreach.

There is a $20 suggested donation at the door to attend/sing. You may bring your own music or borrow a score at the door.

If you enjoy the magnificent music of Händel, sing with us; or come and listen to one of his greatest choral works of all time. We look forward to performing this masterpiece again this year. If you came last year, you know what a glorious event this will be. If this is your first time, you’re in for a very special experience.
