Due to weather, Happy Acres Farm Day is rescheduled to Sunday October 8, 11-4pm.

Happy Acres Farm is celebrating its 3rd annual Open Farm Day. The Sherman Artists Association will be offering 25 farm-themed artworks depicting Happy Acres, farm animals, and farm life.  Some art is for sale and some will be raffled to lucky winners.  Raffle tickets are $5 each or 10 for $40.   The raffle is a fundraiser for the Sherman Artists Association.   There will also be pumpkin painting, pumpkin chucking, pumpkin picking, and pumpkins for sale are all part of the day’s events. Antique engines will demonstrate how ear corn is turned into corn meal for livestock feed. Be sure to check out the delicious food provided by Old Oak Tavern, animal exhibits, hay rides, and equipment on display.
