The Ridgefield Library is hosting a provocative new series this fall entitled, AI: Ready or Not. As a part of this series, Dr. Mark Schenker of Yale University will conduct a trio of online lectures on the theme of artificial intelligence in literature.

Dr. Schenker kicks off his lecture series on Monday, October 2nd at 7:00 PM when he will conduct a Zoom discussion on the book Machines Like Me by Ian McEwan.

The next two programs will occur online on October 16th (A Closed and Common Orbit by Becky Chambers) and October 30th (Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro.)

Dr. Schenker recently retired as an associate dean and dean of academic affairs at Yale College. He is embarking on a new series of lectures titled Literature Sessions with Schenker.
