Award-winning artist Dennis Stevens will display his artworks in an exhibit titled, A Look Around: Paintings by Dennis Stevens from December 1 through December 28 at the Ridgefield Library.*

There will be an Artists’s Reception on Saturday, December 2nd from 2:00-4:00 PM.  Light refreshments will be served and all are welcome.

Stevens’ paintings are traditional and representational and also explore narrative themes in nature. Each painting has its own story. Some stories are obvious while some are subtle and take time to unearth.

Born in a tiny town in Iowa, the son of a sheep shearer and housewife, Dennis graduated from Drake University with a major in art and a minor in advertising. He held many prestigious positions in advertising before devoting his time to painting. Stevens lives and works in Cranbury, CT.

*Please note that the Library will be closed December 25th and 26th.
