My process almost always involves layering, whether that be of the actual materials, subjects, or colors. I love the exploration and experimentation almost as much as the final results, sometimes even more. It is a culmination to create a multifaceted piece. For me, my work is my refuge. Forged through my own creation, it is private and particular. Taking me away from the noise of everyday life it is a true haven, one that I can never truly leave, nor would I want to.
