What We’re Looking For
Arts-based programs that serve Danbury school-aged youth (elementary through high school) outside of regular school hours. Activities should happen in arts venues, community centers, or other safe and welcoming youth-friendly spaces. Program details.
Your program should:
- Be hands-on and arts-based
- Build social connections and life skills
- Celebrate creativity and cultural identity
- Empower youth to tell their stories
Grant Amount: $5,000
Number of Awards: 4
Grant Activity Period: January 1 – June 30, 2026
Matching Funds: Not Required
Who It's For
Nonprofit organizations based in Danbury, CT with at least one year of experience in arts programming.

Dance, Literary Arts, Media Arts, Music, Theatre, Folk Arts, Visual Arts , and more.
What You Can Use the Grant For
- Artist/performer fees
- Materials and equipment
- Venue rental
- Promotion and advertising
- Travel and transportation
- Educational materials
- Honoraria for speakers or discussion leaders
Note: Staff salaries are capped at 25% of your grant request.
