Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut Expands Events Calendar with Civic Lift!

Starting April 5th, 2024, the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut will be migrating to the CivicLift Calendar Platform. This change marks an exciting and welcome shift towards a more dynamic and advantageous system for events management. Creative resources in Western Connecticut will expand their reach to promote events.

Once an event is posted on the new platform, it will not only post on the Cultural Alliance’s calendar, but it will also be dispersed to a network of other sites in our region through CivicLift. This means that events will have further reach and exposure and duplication of efforts will be reduced. What’s even more exciting is that this migration is part of a statewide initiative, with other organizations and communities also joining the CivicLift platform. This means that events will be even more visible and accessible to a wider audience across the state.

Moreover, posting events will be FREE to all users! Membership to the Cultural Alliance will no longer be required to post on our calendar. However, our members will be labeled and have the added benefit of our weekly eblasts, social media promotions, and other marketing efforts in Western CT.

You will need to create a free CivicLift account, if you haven’t already, and that’s it! CivicLift’s platform is user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy for event organizers to submit and manage their events. For further details, see this handy guide to get you on your way. Then you can post to our site as you normally would on the events page.

The Cultural Alliance is proud of our partnership with CivicLift. We’re equally confident that this change will bring about many benefits for both event organizers and attendees alike in Western Connecticut.
