Connecticut’s arts and culture industry does more than enhance our quality of life. It is big business—a $954 million industry that supports local jobs, generates government revenue, and is a magnet for tourists. The State of Connecticut was part of a national study conducted by Americans for the Arts to measure this economic impact. Join this lively session with national arts leader, Randy Cohen, VP of Research at Americans for the Arts, for a fun and inspiring session about how the arts BUILD—the economy, creativity and a 21st century workforce, social cohesion and community unity, as well as advocacy strategies to help you make your case for arts funding.
