New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA), in partnership with the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, has announced the newest cycle of its Rauschenberg Medical Emergency Grants program. The program provides one-time grants of up to $5,000 for recent unexpected medical, dental, and mental health emergencies, and is open to artists in need who are practicing in the disciplines of visual arts, film/video/electronic/digital arts and choreography and living in the U.S., Tribal Nations, District of Columbia, and U.S. Territories.
Eligible expenses include, but are not limited to bills from your hospital/doctor/dentist/clinic, including co-pays; tests/diagnostics/assessments; physical/occupational therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic; prescription drugs specifically for the emergency medical condition; emergency dental work; and transportation expenses to receive treatment.
