Shake, Rattle and Make Music!

Make Music Day on June 21, is a worldwide celebration that’s all about inclusivity and having fun! It doesn’t matter how young or old you are, of if you’re an amateur or professional. This free celebration is all about bringing together communities in the spirit of harmony – be it on the streets, with friends, in a club or coffee shop. An event that began in 1982 on the streets of France, was inspired by the desire for a musical holiday where free, live music would be everywhere and accesible to most everyone. Since, Féte De La Musique (festival of music) has spread to the states, and thankfully to our beautiful state. Danbury and Ridgefield are just a few of the Connecticut cities participating this year.
