Your favorite way to spend Mother’s Day returns to Ridgefield, Connecticut on Sunday, May 14, 2023, with a 5k Women’s Race and Kids 1 Mile. The 5k race starts at The Ridgefield Playhouse and ends at Ballard Park and is welcoming to both beginner and experienced runners alike.

At Ballard Park, there will be a family celebration area with runner refreshments and activities for the kids. There will be plenty of places for your family and friends to spectate, so tell them to get their poster-making skills ready!

PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.

The Kids’ 1 Mile starts at 8:00 AM. The 5k Race starts at 8:30 AM. Click here to register!

This race is a production of Ridgefield/Darien Running Company and a portion of the proceeds benefit the Noreen L. Papa Mothers: Live Your Life Fund at the Ridgefield Library.  Noreen Papa was an integral part of Run Like a Mother for many years, who passed away in 2013 from cancer. Library programming from the fund focuses on health and wellness for the entire community.
