Danbury Symphony Orchestra: American Soundscapes

The Danbury Music Centre presents the Danbury Symphony Orchestra: American Soundscapes
The DSO, under the direction of Ariel Rudiakov, will perform a concert of American composers.
Music will include William Grant Still’s Poem for Orchestra , Ferde Grofe: Grand Canyon Suite, Scott Joplin, Bethena and the premiere of local composer, Thomas Caprino’s, Rhapsody No.1 for Orchestra,
The DSO will be joined by pianist Will Duchon for George Gershwin’s most famous work, Rhapsody in Blue.
Admission is free. Donations are gratefully accepted at the door.
The concert will be held in the Veronica Hagman Concert Hall at WCSU, Visual & Performing Arts Center, 43 Lake Avenue Extension, Danbury, CT
