Creativity Helps Humanity Thrive. An Engage Workshop

May 25 @ 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

A conversation to explore how we can support and grow our local creative economy. Let’s learn to collaborate better together.

Let’s Grow our Local Creative Economy Together!

The Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut is excited to invite the community to the free Engage Workshop on May 25, 2023, 6-8 PM at the Danbury Railway Museum 120 Main Street, Danbury.

What if more of us developed our creativity? And then we applied that creativity to everything we do. What new ventures would be started? What revolutionary ideas would emerge? The world would be different. And not just for artists and people in the art world, but for all of us. It sounds so simple. And yet, so much of our community is broken into silos, dividing those who are “creative” and those who aren’t. The Engage Workshop will bring together our community for a two-hour, free, interactive workshop to spark understanding and collaboration between creative and business-minded individuals.

Join us if you are:

Creative Professionals: artists, musicians, librarians, videographers, landscape designers, game developers, graphic designers, craft food and beverage makers, wordsmiths, or local restaurant owners…

Business Professionals: shop owners, creative accountants, hospital administrators, history teachers, bank tellers, nurses, social workers, pastors, retail shop owners, manufacturers, or economic development professionals…

Creative: wannabe rock stars, sorghum connoisseurs, ticket buyers, song downloaders, quilt collectors, or rose gardeners…

We’re on a mission to raise the value of creativity and culture in every community!
