Connecticut Choral Society ~ Winter Sing of Mozart’s Requiem, KV 626
January 23 @ 7:30 PM
The Connecticut Choral Society invites both singers and non-singers alike to their Winter Sing of the Mozart’s mysterious Requiem. The Winter Sing is part of the Connecticut Choral Society’s 40th Anniversary season and provides an opportunity for singers of any level to come together in the singing of Mozart’s Requiem. Scores will be available, but singers who may have a treasured copy of the Robert D. Levin Edition on hand from a past performance are welcome to bring it along. Music will be available at the door for a $25 donation. Under the direction of Eric Dale Knapp with Diana McVey, soprano – Veronica Pollicino, mezzo- soprano – Wesley Morgan, tenor – Damian Savarino, bass, and Linda Sweetman Waters, piano – the Winter Sing will bring to life this magical masterwork whose genesis is shrouded in mystery. Please join us on Monday, January 23rd at 7:30 pm at Valley Presbyterian Church, 21 West Whisconier Road, in Brookfield. There is a $20 suggested donation at the door and those who simply want to listen to an enjoyable evening of music are welcome to join the fun.
