Call for Artists – Sherman Art Fest 2023
Artist Reception 6:00 – 8:00 pm Friday, June 23, 2023
Open Saturday June 24th and Sunday June 25th, 10 – 4pm
Join Sherman Artists Association in celebrating our second year of a popular event that will be held at The JCC in Sherman. Last year’s show had a steady stream of visitors eager to learn about the artists and how they create. All the artists were very impressed with the level of interest in their art and the great sales!
This show will be held indoors and outdoors at the Jewish Community Center. Artists are responsible for their displays, set-up, insurance, and selling of their work. Indoor spaces are approximately 9×6. Outdoor spaces are 10×10, and we suggest you bring a tent.
The ArtFest is a jury show; all artists are welcome to apply. To participate, fill in the online application form at https://tinyurl.com/ApplyArtFest. The form will capture information about yourself and your artwork, with the ability to upload 3 sample images of your art. There is no jury fee! The deadline for submissions is Friday, May 12, 2023.
Acceptance letters will be emailed on May 17. The entry fee is $60 for Sherman Artists Association members and $75 for non-members. (membership is $30/year). You will receive a link to the artist contract and a means to pay by ACH, credit, debit card, or Paypal by June 1.
There will be an Opening Reception at the Jewish Community Center on Friday, June 23rd, 6-8 pm. Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25, show hours are 10 – 4 pm. Please encourage your friends and family to meet talented artists at the show.
