If you’d like to watch the Oscar Nominated Short Films and benefit the scholarship fund for a graduating high school senior who is a resident of Brookfield and attending college to pursue a career in the arts, now is your chance.
The Brookfield Arts Commission is pleased to partner with Shorts HD and Magnolia Films who for the 16th consecutive year are presenting the Oscar Nominated Short Films. All three categories – Animated, Live Action and Documentary – are offered. You can select one category for $12, two categories for $24, or all three for $30. Brookfield Arts Commission will receive half of the proceeds minus platform fees, and we will apply the money to the scholarship fund.
Once you’ve made your selection, you will have 72 hours from the time you start watching to view the shorts in that category. The link will be active for 30 days from purchase. Parental discretion is advised for all categories.
The Animated films have a 99 minute running time and a rating of PG13. Warning: If Anything Happens I Love You is about parents mourning a child killed in a school shooting.
Live Action has a running time of 130 minutes and is rated R.
Documentary has a running time of 136 minutes and is rated R.
