Aquila’s Nest Vineyards

Perched on a hilltop in the Sandy Hook section of Newtown, Aquila’s Nest Vineyards is an innovative family-owned winery, tasking room and event venue. The 41-acre experience-focused winery intermingle mythology, art and wine that defines the guest experience.
The Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut partnered with the winery to present the third outdoor sculptural exhibit at this stunning space. Inspired by the theme of Renewal and Self-discovery, curator Brian McCarley of Danbury, chose works that reflects connection to community through upcycled and/or repurposed objects.
